Hello, I'm Syrene. I'm a storyteller, art curator, and a proud Taiwanese girl from beautiful Formosa.
My background is deeply rooted in art brokerage and contemporary curation, which has made me accustomed to deconstructing the world through sight, senses, and stories. Besides my rich experience living abroad and cross-cultural exchange, I've also taught Chinese to children in tutoring centers. I'm not particularly good at rote memorization of textbooks, so I use creative and relatable methods to make reading fun and engaging.

Immersive Contextual Learning:
From local Taiwanese life, night market culture, and social media memes to everyday dining and socializing, you'll directly learn the colloquialisms and slang Taiwanese people use every day.
Sensory Storytelling:
Instead of tedious vocabulary memorization, I will use images, music, or a life story as a starting point to activate your senses, allowing you to unconsciously connect vocabulary with real-life scenarios.
Practical "Micro-Creation":
Learn and use! We'll practice sending an authentic Mandarin text message, writing a simple Instagram Story, or discussing your favorite movie in Mandarin.
