About Me
Hi, I’m Si-ying
I’m a Mandarin teacher who loves helping people feel comfortable, confident, and truly themselves when speaking Chinese.
I believe learning a language is not just about vocabulary and grammar — it’s about connection, expression, and courage to speak. Many of my students come to me feeling nervous, shy, or frustrated. My goal is to create a space where you can relax, make mistakes safely, and slowly build real confidence.
I have received professional Mandarin teaching training and hold certificates from Chinese language teaching programs and workshops.
I also have teaching experience in:
Teaching Mandarin to young and adult learners
Teaching English and German to young children.
This background allows me to understand different learning styles, age groups, and cultural backgrounds, and to design lessons that are both structured and warm.

Course Description
This is a customized Mandarin speaking course designed for learners who want to speak naturally, confidently, and comfortably — like learning and practicing with a friend, not sitting in a traditional classroom.
The course focuses on real communication, not textbook-only Chinese. Lessons are built around diverse real-life topics, natural conversations, and practical expression, helping you develop fluency, confidence, and your own Mandarin “personality.”
I design each lesson based on your level, goals, interests, and personality, whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced learner who wants to sound more natural.
