關於Jade
你好，我是 Jade. I have experience of teaching people (adults and children) Simplified and Traditional Chinese. My students’ proficiency ranges from zero to B2.
I had studied Chinese Literature as the specialization of my bachelor’s degree, beside this; I also learned how to teach Chinese in my college. I have taught Chinese since my second year of college, and this is my fifth year of Chinese teaching. My student included American, East European, Indian and Taiwanese people. I love teaching Chinese online, and I am good at using tech tools to teach. About myself, I speak Chinese, English, Taiwanese and limited Korean and French. 我的中文教學以一對一口語訓練為核心，透過自然的對話與情境練習，幫助學生在真實交流中提升表達能力。我注重引導式教學，會根據學生的程度與興趣設計 開放性問題，鼓勵學生思考、描述與分享個人觀點。 此外，我擁有豐富的文學基礎與深厚的文化素養，能夠在教學中融入語言背後的文化意涵，幫助學生更深入地理解中文，提升語感與表達層次。 在課堂中，我會透過追問與延伸問題，讓學生不只是回答「是或否」，而是學會如何組織語言、表達意見，達到 實用又自信的口語表達。
My Chinese teaching approach focuses on one-on-one oral training, helping students improve their communication skills through natural conversations and real-life scenarios. I emphasize a guided questioning method, designing open-ended questions based on each student’s level and interests to encourage thinking, description, and personal expression.
In addition, I have a strong background in Chinese literature and deep cultural literacy, which allows me to integrate cultural insights into language learning. This helps students not only understand the language but also appreciate the cultural nuances behind it, enhancing both fluency and expression.
During lessons, I use follow-up and extension questions to help students go beyond simple “yes or no” answers and learn how to organize their thoughts and express opinions with confidence and clarity.
