關於Jonathan
I studied Computer Science and Art & Literature at university. This is a pretty uncommon combination of subjects, but it underscores two important sides of me:
(1) I have a strong background in math and love to solve problems with algorithms.
(2) I'm an avid reader and love to work on creative projects. I work with a range of mediums, from film photography and poetry to web animations.
Although I grew up in Zambia, with Zambian and British parents, I've learned in nearly 10 different countries, so I love learning about new cultures and expanding my horizons. I'm currently based in Taiwan.

My teaching style is project-based! So throughout the course, we'll improve your English by working on projects based on your interests. Passionate about entrepreneurship, we'll work on a startup pitch deck together. Film fanatic? We'll write practice writing film reviews that hook the reader and tell a cohesive story. Studying Computer Science? We'll work on writing technical blog posts or documentation for your code. This style of teaching ensures you learn English in practical settings while also making it fun.
Learning doesn't stop as soon as you've left the classroom, so I'll provide you with written and podcast materials for you to explore independently.
