Hi! I’m a native Chinese speaker from Taiwan, currently studying Art History in the UK. With an academic background in the humanities, I’m especially interested in culture, history, and how language connects people across different societies.
In addition to Chinese and English, I also speak Japanese, which allows me to better understand the challenges of learning a new language. I’m able to explain concepts clearly and adapt my teaching depending on your background and learning style.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time in cafés, reading books, playing games, and traveling. These experiences often become part of my lessons, helping students learn Chinese through real-life topics and conversations rather than just textbooks.
I believe language learning should be both practical and enjoyable. My goal is to help you speak Chinese with confidence while also gaining a deeper understanding of Taiwanese culture and everyday communication.

My teaching approach focuses on building confidence and real-life communication skills. I believe language learning should feel natural, engaging, and meaningful rather than memorizing rules.
I adapt my teaching methods based on each student’s level and goals. I combine conversation practice, pronunciation training, and cultural context to help students not only speak Chinese but also understand how it is used in real situations.
Each lesson is structured but flexible:
Warm-up conversation (review & speaking practice)
Introduction of new vocabulary or topics
Guided speaking practice (interactive exercises)
Real-life application (role play / discussion)
Summary & feedback
Lessons are customized for every student, so the pace and content can always be adjusted.
