I have a graduate degree, extensive experience in corporate engineering environments as well as teaching different levels of students across multiple subject types, giving me ability to understand student requirements. I teach English and high school engineering subjects - physics, mathematics, and mechanics. With my student-centered approach, I encourage development and understanding of the subject in a supportive way. Wherever you are coming from and whatever level you are working towards, I can help you increase your skill and understanding, enabling you to reach your goals. I prefer to teach to the individual, based on their specific needs. We can have a discussion about where you are with the subject that you would like to improve and can formalise a plan from that point.
I like to have a more casual interaction so that I can understand what is required and then structure things to give a practical direction.
I emphasise an approach based on understanding rather than just memorisation so that the student can see the pathway rather than just blindly copying.
I encourage questions and adapt the pace to the student’s level. For English sessions, I focus on clarity, vocabulary, and communication.
