Hi, I’m Sigrid, a native Mandarin speaker from Taiwan and currently an exchange student at the University of Warsaw. With a background in communication, media, and education, I have experience in language teaching, translation, and cross-cultural communication.
As your Chinese tutor, my goal is not only to help you learn the language, but also to understand the culture behind it. I believe language learning should be practical, enjoyable, and tailored to each student’s needs.
My teaching philosophy:
• Language is more than grammar and vocabulary — it’s a way to connect with people.
• Every student has different goals, so I design personalized lessons (daily conversation, travel dialogues, academic writing, or business Chinese).
• I encourage active speaking and interactive practice, so you can confidently use Mandarin in real-life situations.
• Mistakes are part of learning — I create a supportive environment where you feel comfortable experimenting with the language.
I look forward to helping you speak Mandarin naturally and confidently, while also gaining insights into Taiwanese and Chinese culture.
